The NALAG Bellingen/Nambucca Shires
Branch - Miindala provides individual grief support,
awareness and education in the area of loss, grief,
bereavement and trauma. The word "Miindala" is an
Aboriginal word meaning "to do something well".
The NALAG Bellingen/Nambucca Shires Branch - Miindala is
supported by dedicated Volunteers. All Volunteers
undergo Grief Support and Life Threatening Support
training approved by NALAG (NSW) Inc.
Our Services
NALAG Bellingen/Nambucca Shires
Branch - Miindala
outreaches to the following towns: Bellingen, Dorrigo,
Repton, Mylestrom, Urunga, Valla, Nambucca and
Macksville.
NALAG Bellingen/Nambucca Shires
Branch - Miindala provides:
- individual and group
support, awareness and education in the area of
grief, loss and bereavement.
- emotional support to
people facing a life threatening situation through
illness, accident or old age.
- support to family and
carers.
- training to service
providers in the area of grief, loss, death and
dying
- community events
promoting understanding and awareness in the area of
grief and loss, death and dying
- community resources in
the area of grief and loss, death and dying

Cost
NALAG is a not for profit
organisation. The NALAG Nambucca/Bellingen Shires Branch
- miindala provides grief and loss support to all people
regardless of financial circumstances and provides these
services completely FREE of charge.
Appointments are by prior arrangement
only. NALAG Bellingin/Nambucca Shires Branch - Miindala
is not a Crisis Centre and all emergencies should be
directed to the appropriate agency or to the outpatient
unit of your local Hospital.
